Beta Living Healthspan 50+ Garlic & Cheese Baps

Makes 8-10 wedges depending on size  Baps are similar to flat rolls or scones.  They are a perfect addition to the Creamy Tomato Zoodles with Healthspan 50+.   They are a great way to incorporate extra protein and other essential nutrients into your diet.  While the Healthspan 50+ range is tailored to men and women’s individual nutritional needs, this treat can be made with either Healthspan 50+ products. 

Ingredients:

3 scoops Healthspan 50+ (men or women’s) 

250 g grated cheddar cheese 

150 g unsalted butter 

260 g plain flour 

100ml water 

1 tbsp baking powder 

1 ½ tbsp garlic powder 

2 tsp fine sea salt 

½ tsp dried Italian herbs 

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 220°C and line 2 baking trays with baking paper. 

2. Melt butter. 

3. Add Healthspan, flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, water and grated cheddar cheese to a large bowl.  Add melted butter and mix until combined. 

4. Place mixture on a flour covered board and flatten to desired thickness (1-2cm).  Cut into wedges.  Place wedges onto prepared trays, sprinkle with Italian herbs. 

5. Bake for 8-10 minutes (220°C) until lightly browned.  

6. Serve warm.
