Inspired by Nature

Nature knows best, so at Beta A2 we have researched and modelled our formula on what Mother Nature creates naturally.

Let us explain using our Toddler Stage 3 Formula as an example.

Omega 3 Preparing for Baby:

As mothers we are told to start taking good quality Omega 3 Supplements prior to and throughout our pregnancy*.
The Omega 3 supports us as mothers to have adequate nutrients stores to support our baby’s growth in the womb and then when they join us in the world via our breast milk. Research suggests that the DHA in Omega 3’s are essential for optimal brain, eye, immune and nervous system development.

SO WE'VE ADDED DHA TO OUR FORMULA

Good Gut Health:

Breast milk contains about 200 different types of prebiotics, which provide food for the good bacteria in the gut*. The good bacteria, which make up the microbiome, helps our babies to break down the food that they ingest. Our baby’s first dose of good bacteria is received while in the womb (the placenta has its own microbiome), then during birth if it’s vaginally and then via breast feeding and skin-to-skin contact. As your baby grows and starts playing and putting everything in their mouth, they add to their microbiome. The Australian Breast Feeding Association indicates that there are a significant difference in the gut microbiome of babies exclusively breastfed compared to those given formula.

SO WE'VE ADDED PREBIOTICS TO OUR FORMULA

Vitamins and Minerals are key

Breast milk contains just the right amount of key vitamins and minerals to help your baby to grow and maintain great health:
  • Calcium and Magnesium to support healthy bones and teeth
  • Iron to support normal cognitive development
  • Zinc to help support your child’s immune system
  • Vitamins A, C, D and E to contribute to the natural growth and development of your toddler.

SO WE'VE ADDED VITAMINS AND MINERALS TO OUR FORMULA

Proteins and Carbohydrates

Lactose is the main carbohydrate source in breast milk, while the available proteins are the main building blocks of the body, and both are priorities for growing babies.

SO YOU GUESSED IT ... WE'VE MADE SURE OUR FORMULA HAS JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNTS OF BOTH

Please remember we are in no way saying that our formula is as good as breast milk, simply that we learn from what Mother Nature does best. We are advocates for breast feeding, and totally support Breast is Best. We know however that sometimes this is not possible, so in these times you want to know that you are using a formula that makes sense, naturally.
